My first project for my study Creative Media and Game Design, was to make a board game. My group made a wild west style board game in which you would duel by rolling a dice. During this project my roles were to: create rules, create simple concept art, work with laser cutters, 3D printers and sticker printers, conducting playtests and presenting.
For my second project in the first year we had to make a point and click adventure game. we decided to go for a somewhat scary escape room in which you were the ghost of a butler trying to escape their murder house to finally put their soul to rest. In this project my roles were: conceptualizing the idea, creating a soundtrack and fitting SFX, creating a promotional video and presenting.
For the third project we had to make an arcade game for which we also had to make our own custom input device, we went for a simple game that took inspiration from endless platformer games such as doodle jump. In our game you would control a jetpack and you would have to avoid obstacles and gather fuel to get as far as possible. for the custom input device we went with 2 joy-cons with a rumble motor inside and a button on top controlling 1 of the thrusters each. During this project my roles were: creating a soundtrack and fitting SFX, Conceptualizing the idea, Creating and programming the custom input device and conducting playtests.

During my second term of Creative media and Game technology, I got the subject Sound Design. In which we would learn to create fitting SFX for a game or video. The final project would be to completely recreate the trailer of No One Will Save You in Ableton Live. All the SFX would be removed and you had to either find SFX or create some with foley. At least 1 foley sound was required.
During my first term of Creative Media and Game Technology, I had the subject Design Thinking. During this subject I would learn basic design principles and had to use them to create an app for an existing IP. For my app I chose the IP Apex Legends, the game had quite a lot of story going on but no real, one place to find it all, so I created a prototype for an app that would contain all of the story, so new players would have an easier time trying to understand the story.
